Today we took over the Garrison Theatre for our run of Sinbad the Sailor. Only 25 days until we "curtain up" for our first performance!!
And after weeks of designing, construction and base painting, the set was today delivered into the Garrison Theatre. A group of members (backstage and cast) along with friends and helpers got the set into the Theatre at 9am and all day the Theatre has hummed to the sound of drills and screwdrivers as it has all been put together. Well done to David and the crew.
Tomorrow Fiona Christie, our fantastically talented set painter will start the amazing delicate job of painting, creating the individual scenes which will transport the audience to a bazzar in Old Baghdad - and other interesting places.
