Anne Downie's play about emigration, independence and coming home centres around Maggie, a woman in her late 70s returning to Scotland after half a century in the US. Maggie is the eldest of five sisters and the dialogue bats back and forth between these women as they fight over Maggie's fortune.
The play also switches in time to Maggie's earlier life in Glasgow, before she went to America.
Rehearsals are now in their second month and Stanley is very pleased with the way the play is progression (well he looks quite relaxed!).
