During the course of Act 1 both Jane and Julia receive postcards from their former lover Maurice - Jane's postcard shows the Blue Grotto in Capri and Julia the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Both places are significant in their past history.
Jean managed to track down two original 1920s postcards after seeing this photograph of Joan Collins and Susannah York
in a 1970s production of Fallen Angels.
These small details are so important to a production and take a lot of time and effort to get right.
